Tomorrow morning I fly home to San Francisco. I wasn’t going to come home until the 18th but with my dad not doing so well I’m coming home so I can fly to the Philippines within the week. I will be spending Christmas in the Philippines but I am hopefully coming home by December 28 so I can have at least one week in the bay before having to fly back to NYC January 5.

Today I rode the subway for the first time!! But first I walked to school in order to find a church to attend and turn in some paperwork. I found a very pretty church just a few blocks away so I can easily walk to and from mass on Sundays. From there I went to school and then to the subway station.
